In a world where formalwear is worn once and then forgotten, Ioan Lara Maria Bianca chooses to transform, not simply create. Founder of the conceptual brand NoxVita and a student at Istituto Marangoni, she reimagines the ritual of the Quinceañera as an act of rebellion, freedom, and identity.
The inspiration behind this project is the Quinceañera tradition, an event where young girls are often expected to embody a certain ideal of sweetness, elegance, and conformity. But what about those who don’t feel represented by pastel gowns and tiaras? What about the girls who feel loud, angry, alternative, and alive? “Reclaim the Crown” reimagines this celebration for them.

Reclaim the Crown for Those Who Don’t Relate
The collection comes to life through discarded materials, broken umbrellas, forgotten fabrics, recycled jewelry, and spray-painted words. Every look is a statement. Every detail, a contradiction.
The first piece, titled “YOUTH”, blends sheer tulle, pink tartan, and rebellious slogans: an explosive mix that tells the story of adolescence without sugarcoating it.
The second, “SYSTEM ERROR”, is a living structure made of printed wallpaper, chains, and chaotic silhouettes, embodying digital confusion and the struggle to define oneself in a noisy world. “It’s not perfect, but it’s real. Just like youth.”
Beyond the Dress
“Reclaim the Crown” is also a message for those who’ve never felt represented by imposed standards: girls, queer individuals, outsiders, anyone who has longed for a ceremony that celebrates their uniqueness. And it’s not just fashion. It’s a visual language, a political act, a punk and tender gesture all at once.
