Behind every striking and inspiring image lies a process of research, cross-pollination, and personal vision. Lloyd, a creative designer from London, has built his visual language by blending illustration, fashion, sports, and digital into a distinctive style that proudly declares: “Not everyone is going to like it. But this is me, my style, my work.”
Bold, creative, original. These three words define the visual universe of Lloyd, a London designer whose work fuses fashion, sports, and digital design. Drawing from illustration, collage, and video games, his projects channel the energy of the present while staying authentic.
We interviewed him to talk about style, inspirations, and future dreams.

Your latest post says: “Not everyone is going to like it. But this is me, my style, my work.” How did you develop this unapologetic approach to design?
I have always been into mixed media/collage type graphic illustrations. I set out to create a visually impactful set of illustrations by pulling together texture, imagery and colour. The combination of the 3 seemed to start off really well, so I continued to add and develop, until I was happy with them.
What’s your usual starting point when working on a new project, concept, color, typography, or something else?
Research first and foremost, but also being in a good moment to produce something that I will be happy with.
Sports aesthetics and digital design seem central in your work. What draws you most to this intersection?
Yes, I love sports and I have been a digital designer for years. I've always felt like my style sits naturally in the sport world, sport has energy, it's bold and is ever moving. Combining my love for sport and my experience in design seems to work for me.
Which artists, designers, or cultural references influence you the most?
Damien Hirst, I've always been into his ideas and what he's about. Then there's Will Baras, his style and what he manages to create is incredible. I like to draw ideas from computer games and the gaming industry as a whole. I've played them for as long as I can remember and they've always inspired me. Games like Zelda, Sonic, Mario and the more recent Donkey Kong Bananza, I will always be inspired by the developers' ideas on these games.
How do you balance current design trends with your own personal vision?
I keep an eye on current design trends (color palettes, typography shifts, UI/UX patterns, motion design) through various platforms like Behance, Awwwards and trend reports and just being active visually, looking everyday at what's new and fresh. But I treat these as inspiration rather than rules to follow, so when it comes to my own vision, it's a combination of everything I've seen and liked.
Is there a dream project or collaboration you’d love to work on in the future?
I'm an Arsenal F.C fan, they have a great creative team, I would love to work on a project with them guys. I know I would give everything to try and stay on for as long as I could with them.
